The Lee Tung Avenue lighting decorations are stunning this year! The on-site decorations are inspired by European carnivals, featuring an 8-metre-tall colourful Christmas tree, a giant aerial Ferris wheel, flying hot air balloons, and a merry-go-round in the courtyard, creating a joyful atmosphere. The tree-lined walkway is adorned with giant Christmas bells and spherical light decorations, making it a super eye-catching spot for photos. Starting now, a light and music show, 'Luminous Symphony', will be held every evening, with snowfall performances on selected dates in December, allowing everyone to experience a white Christmas. For those who enjoy browsing markets, this year's Lee Tung Avenue, together with Orbis and the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, presents a charitable Christmas market and a Nordic Christmas market, offering handmade products, Nordic gifts, and cultural treasures, along with Christmas workshops where participants can make their own ornaments.
As you enter Lee Tung Avenue, you'll be captivated by the series of giant Christmas bells and ball-shaped light decorations suspended in the air along the 200-metre-long tree-lined walkway, complemented by numerous Christmas trees along the route, exuding a rich Christmas atmosphere. In the courtyard stands an 8-metre-tall LED Christmas tree sparkling with golden lights, along with an LED Ferris wheel with a diameter of 7.5 metres that shines with radiant light effects, resembling festive fireworks in the sky. Several dreamlike hot air balloons float in the air, paired with upward-facing beams of light, creating the illusion of a gradual ascent, reminiscent of a lively European carnival.
The Christmas light and music show, 'Luminous Symphony', will be presented nightly from now until 1 January 2026, starting at 5:30 pm, and repeating every 20 minutes, with over 20,000 intelligent LED lights adorning the various installations in the courtyard, making Lee Tung Avenue one of the must-visit Christmas attractions in Wan Chai!
Orbis Charity Christmas Pop-up
On the last two weekends of November (21-23 and 28-30 November), Orbis will host a 'Gifts of Time • Charity Christmas Pop-up', featuring various handmade goods sold by different vendors. During the event, a range of creative workshops will also be organised.
Nordic Christmas Market
For those who love Christmas markets, mark your calendars for the 'Nordic Christmas Market' from 5 to 7 December, where Lee Tung Avenue, together with the Swedish, Danish, and Finnish Chambers of Commerce in Hong Kong, will bring the festive culture, traditional crafts, and winter charm of Nordic countries to Hong Kong. The market will feature nearly 20 themed booths offering a variety of authentic Nordic delicacies and exquisite handicraft gifts, along with a series of hands-on workshops where participants can experience the joy of Nordic traditional crafts. Additionally, Santa Claus from Sweden will make a special appearance at Lee Tung Avenue, interacting warmly with visitors and spreading festive cheer!
Return of the Romantic Snowfall Performance
The beloved 'Let It Snow!' snowfall performance will make a romantic comeback in December! Starting 5 December, on Fridays, Saturdays, as well as Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve, Lee Tung Avenue will present a total of 30 snowfall performances, with fluffy white snowflakes creating a dreamy and romantic atmosphere.
On 20 and 25 December, at 3:30 pm and 4:30 pm (each session lasting 30 minutes), Christmas Village characters will make surprise appearances in the courtyard, bringing a festive flash mob! Professional dancers dressed as adorable characters, including Santa Claus, snowmen, elves, gingerbread men, and reindeer, will ignite the atmosphere with their energetic dance performances.
